Hello,
I am unable to import any skeletal mesh into my 5.2 project. I also tried it with a Blank 5.2 project but in vain.
It simply freezes the editor after I click Import All. I also tried to reset all Import Settings.
Anyone else facing this issue with 5.2?

Yes, This is happening to me too, it’s not because of the polycount, I tried importing a literal 4 vertex plane with 4 bones attached to each vertex. It couldn’t import it and just froze. However, Static meshes are importable. I also have a fairly good computer. I will see if this happens in 5.1… If it doesn’t, I will file a bug report for 5.2. Keep in mind that this happens regardless of whether I press Import nor import all.

It doesn’t happen in 5.1 for me too. I just submitted a bug report.

I just found the way to do it… When importing, It shows you the file explorer right? And in that window at the bottom right, Look to the bottom right and choose Skeletal mesh FBX from the list of file types on the right of the bar. If you import it like that, It imports very well.
