I am in the process of trying to create a multiplayer game, and I am getting a bit stumped.
Each client creates and saves their character on their game instance. When a player goes to host a game the start up a listen server, and I want each client to be able to bring their saved information into the listen-server game. The server will create the controllers, but I can’t get the saved information from the individual clients into the listen-server, so the client character doesn’t spawn.
I can force a character to spawn on the client side by bypassing the islocalcontroller branch; however, the game will only pull the listen-server game instance saved information, so the server character is created, not the client character.
Any thoughts on where I have gone wrong?
