UMG Buttons and VR?

Hello, I’m trying to make a 3D menu, but I’m having trouble finding a way to press buttons. I tried making an interface and calling it if I get a successful trace on my button, but it seems to just interact with the UMG 3D widget, can’t get hit to hit specific buttons. I’m not sure that’ll work.

Surely there’s a simple way to press buttons in VR? Or do I need to do an alternative method like using meshes?

Ah, I was hoping there was an easier way… I got lost about half way through the event graphics doing all the math calculating the size of the widgets when converting it to worldspace. All that math just to get the button you’re looking at. Not to sound ungrateful, to you for the answer or to him for his project, I am merely too stupid for all that complicated work.

Especially when it’s so easy to just use a thin cube instead, which I think I’ll do until they simplify 3D widgets.
