UI Widget Blueprint: Apply one animation to many targets (and possible method)


I’ve asked a similar thing over on answers, so I will use that as an example of my suggested feature.


Introduce a ‘Null Object’ into the UI Widget Blueprint.

This Null Object can be transformed/key-framed to hold animation data.

The Null Object’s animation can be plugged into the In Animation of a Play Animation function.

Any target can now be plugged into the Play Animation function and have the animation data from Null Object applied to it.

This would allow you to make something like a button press animation without having to keyframe every single button
