UE4 VXGI Studio Lighting Setup

Hi guys,

Have been playing with vxgi lately and tried to recreate a typical Vray Studio lighting setup in UE4.
This is the result I have. Quite happy with it. Everything realtime at 50fps no lightmaps.


There seems to be too much AO going on there.
HBAO+ is quite strong by default and can be toned down.

50fps using what gpu?

It also, as I recently discovered, absolutely massacres foliage (link to the NvPhysX repo for GameWorks stuff, so if you can’t access it, that’s why).
