UE4 - Double jump while falling, throws players to the ground, why?

Hi, I use the jump node to make a double jump, increasing Jump Z velocity, its the regular system that everybody uses, counting util 2, and everything works right on flat floor; but, if I make 1 jump from a higher ground then while falling fast I press jump again, most of the time it throws the main character to the ground super fast, instead of causing the double jump… not sure why, I already tried everyting, like launch, or playing with movement component, disable gravity while falling… nothing fixes the issue.
