ue4 does the number off the material layer blends affect performance ?
im creating a master material for multi biome landscape with 12 layer blends or so - and i notice that while its very simple and very low instructions but it does not have very good performance
while i have a simple one with 4 layer blends with higher instructions and performance better even when i enable tessellation

BTW i dont use more than 2 layers on same landscape component

This slows me down as well. I haven’t packaged the build yet, but I imagine the issue is solved when running from the executable. Just super slow editor work and compile time. Only have 16gigs ram.
