UE 4.13 Alembic Support

Please can we have details on how alembic support is supposed to work with UE4.

Somehow I end up with a horizontal, stretched model, made of world material trying to perform an animation.

I thought importing the alembic file would be merged somehow into the animations, or the mesh.

Does anyone have any advice/instructions/ideas, please?

Pretty sure they’re planning a training stream once 4.13 is officially released.

Oh I’m sure they’re likely to do so…it’s just harder to test things without some idea as to their implementation methodology.

It makes more sense to make a training video beforehand…

I tried to get ABC cache to work but not sure about the methodology too. I can’t get it to work with sequencer so I guess either it’s not same as how Cinebox works or I missed a setup.
