UDK Object has degenerate tangent bases which will result in incorrect shading error

hello guys someone can me explaine what it means and how to avoid this porblem
I creaty my object in Softimage and trying export it into UDK and got this error, object doesnt have any UV and some hard anatomy, just some box which look like House
I’m already find FBX Static Mesh Pipeline but its doesnt help me

-enable recompute tangents in your static mesh settings
-also make sure that you have uv mapped your mesh :slight_smile:

oh well so thats I cant avoid this error as long as my model doesnt have UV, so i cant make some cool box level w/o uv?

Yep, you will have to create a uv map for your meshes -> but for cubes you can just do it like that. Blender: select the mesh - edit mode - U - unwrap - export :slight_smile:

haha thanks I see how cheat this, but still if u use some extrude or anything tools meshs need recreaty UV but really there not so much defference between
