Two Light Sets in One Map?

I am looking for a way to use two lighting scenarios in one scene. Imagine an environment (terrain, rocks, trees, etc) scaled down to fit inside a room. I’d like the room to be lit like a normal every day room, but have control over the environment lighting to light as you would a game map. Possibly having the room lighting baked in and would not affect or cast shadows on the environment within this room. Then a light set for the environment that allows me to give it it’s own look and atmosphere.

Would it makes sense to create the room as a map and bake the lighting in - then load it as a persistent level? I’m just afraid the light set in this room would also be used when I want to bake the lighting on the environment…

Any help would be appreciated - russp

You could set lighting channels, so lights you place could be set to affect some objects but not others.

You can play with the stream level indeed 2016-08-14-1730-35.mp4 (only players/scripts/etc. are on the persistent level)
I wish we will have a proper way to do it (like Goldsrc/Source Engine), without baking 9001 maps (because of files size)
