Trying to create a ULandscapeSplinesComponent C++ but I cant add points or segments.

I am attempting to dynamically create a ULandscapeSplinesComponent that follows the USplineComponent i create in scene to auto adjust the terrain height after I have created my USplineComponent path and objects along it but no matter what I try I can’t seem to add any points to this object what so ever. Am I going after this the wrong way?
