Translucent Material Popping

Hi there,

I have a cloud plane that I am putting up in the sky using a translucent material with a cloud and an alpha channel. I keep getting this popping between how it is being rendered. If I look at it at a certain angle, it gets significantly darker and then when the camera goes away from it, it pops back to the other color. I’ve messed around with just about every setting and can’t get that popping to go away. I’ll post pics. It doesn’t fade to that darker color either, it pops right to it. Any ideas why this happens and how to fix?
