Track VR events in a Server

Hi all, I am looking for some guidance and to start a discussion on tracking events in Unreal. Being a novice in Unreal, I wasn’t sure where to start in looking at server connections. Basically, I want to keep track of movements, or object placements and be able to gather useful data. For example if I was doing an education game I would want to track the user’s progress in a given level. How can one store this information in a server and where does one go to learn about setting up the connections and sending data?
