I’ll probably use the second solution.
As for the first solution, it doesn’t seem to work as I want - using “On Component Overlap”, for some reason I can’t get the Physics Material of the overlapped object from the “Sweep Result” pin. - Physics Material is always ‘default’ no matter if the object I am overlapping has surface type of wood or metal.
The second solution is also better for the reason that I won’t have to add and set the sphere collider for every other object the player will hold in “hand”
