So, I was thinking about creating a tactical RPG of sorts, or at least experiment with the mechanics from one. I’ve never delved into a genre like this before, so I’m not entirely sure where to start. I’ve seen various videos of tile based movements in Unreal, but not really any guidelines or tutorials on how to get started with it. I don’t particularly want to buy any toolkits from the marketplace, although I will definitely consider it if I can’t find any way to begin this.
So, if anyone has any idea on what to do when creating a grid based movement system, or has a video that would help, I’d be SUPER grateful.
oh yeah, in blueprints if that’s possible too… I have no idea how to use C++ :’)
