I re-created a part of my map inside of blender to make a proper thumbnail for it, but it keeps getting rejected. “keep it authentic”… It’s nearly the exact same thing as my map, I don’t understand.

Make a thumnail in blender with a text inside the scene. Mine is realistic, because it’s a realistic fight map
As you can see in the Fortnite Island Creators Rules, in the point 1.6 Be Original. You are probably using a title similar to a different island, or images from other thumbnails, etc.
Try to be sure that you are using only original content for your Island and media.
There are people who ignore this rule and still manage to get their islands published, I can’t deny that. But here we are talking about a specific case in which the Island is not allowed to be published due to a specific rule infraction, so I’m trying to help to solve it.
In fact, we can use the same example you bring to the conversation to make an extra suggestion for Spicymage’s thumbnail: as you can see in the link shared by 13HARAMBE37, something that most of those thumbnails have in common is that they exemplify very well what the Island is about, including in the image the game mode and the extras that define them from the others, like characters (TMNT) or special weapons, to name a few examples.
Maybe you could try by making it really clear that your Island is a realistic mode by using assets that are not as common in the more normal Fortnite modes and are more linked to the experiencie you want to publish.
FYI @BRGJuanCruzMK “Realistics” is a term meant essentially for maps trying to replicate a “realistic” fortnite BR fight. Eg fights with medium randomized loot one might have in the middle of the game. It’s a term for a mode similarly to a “DeathMatch/GunGame/Red Vs Blue”.
As for the rejection @13HARAMBE37 I believe you are right, it probably is caused by the crown since the crown item IS given by Fortnite to players who won their last Battle Royale game, and is not present in FNC/UEFN for creators to give so it could be seen as breaking this part of the rule I assume or 1.13.3 .
I have a crown system and i basically put a ui popup that was a acknowledgement stating its not a real crown ect if they didnt accept it kicked them to the lobby
This was a few months ago but i had the same rejection then added this and been fine since
