Textures with endings "_512", "_1024", "_2048" are automatically set as the mipmaps?

Hello,

I recently noticed that when I import a texture “T_Tex_1024” and in the same folder are other textures “T_Tex_512”, “T_Tex_2048”, UE notices that and in the file info all of those files are as source files marked:

tex.jpg
Does this mean that UE automatically uses these textures as mipmaps? As custom made mipmaps?
