Textures in 4.11.2 ?

I am unsure how to go about adding textures to my objects in 4.11.2 everything is grey , i watched the video tutorial but my interface has no textures in the material tab am i just missing something? also the tab for view textures used with material is empty

Hey Skeltom,

Are you trying to add textures to your object, or materials? The latter is what you will need to apply color to your object. If you could explain your problem in more detail, or provide screenshots it can help us assist you further. =)
