After texture, it is formed as a result of 2k.
So, I try to raise it to 8k or more through the unwrap function, but the texture size is the same. Maybe it’s because the number of tris is small? I don’t know why or if it’s because I’m using a small object or because I didn’t shoot with the object in the viewfinder full when I was shooting.
Sometimes smaller objects will not unwrap at 8k, using the default unwrap settings. If you can get an 8k unwrap then you can reproject using the “texture reprojection tool” If you can’t get an 8k unwrap you can try to force it, by using the “fixed texel size” style, and setting the texel size to smaller than the “optimal”.
Hey Ondrej Trhan, I did the steps you mention to get a 8k unwrap and export, but it then packs all the uv’s to half of the texture space wich defeats the point of doubling the texture size. Any way to fix this?

This could happen when you have insufficient images to get 8k texture. You cab try pre-defined settings, but it is possible that you won’t get 8k textures. Please, try to add your image here to tell you more.
