I don’t even know how to begin with this.
- Nanite is not working on graphics card with DirectX 11.0.
I wish I could buy a new card, but there is literally nothing available in my country for about two years. - I don’t have anything against nanite, since it’s a great feature, if you want it, just use it.
- You don’t necessarily want to build a game, but what if you want to make an architectural visualization, and REASSEMBLING the scene is out of the question?
- Why removing tessellation altogether, when it worked just fine?
- You see, tessellation is not only for rocks and terrain, think about car models, or anything where you need to add roundness to your models.
- And what about skeletal meshes?
- Tessellation works on mobile platforms too (don’t quote me on that), don’t think we will see nanite on mobile any time soon.
