Tesselation needs to come back, desperately

You’re welcome to disagree but I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with what’s in 5.1 if you build it from source. ATM it looks like Nanite is a lot more functional and several of the main limitations are either gone or going away…Nanite landscape is sort of on its way in. Nanite meshes themselves also seem to be working with WPO…so there’s really zero reason to stay glued to VHFM. If Nanite Landscapes can take advantage of texture-driven displacement the same way other static meshes do, then this is the obvious answer I think for landscape displacement going forward.
