A bit hard to ask proper questions before you actually announce what’s in 4.8, knowing what’s already on the table would make asking (and answering) questions much more fruitfull.
But let’s try anyway:
- How much (in the long run) do you think you can reduce the engine footprint on the app size and when do you plan to face this issue?
- How far are we from getting more monetization options for mobiles? When will AdMob support be improved? What other networks are in the works?
- Did you consider adding official FireOS support as separate platform so that it’s API could be used? Without that we have no monetization on Amazon, and as the apps do pass the compability tests it’s quite a waste…
- Should we expect any singnificant performance upgrades, especially on mid-range devices? Do you have any set targets in this area?
- Any plans for the Facebook API integration?
- Further Android API integrations, two features in particular: push notification solutions and ‘share’ feature. Any plans for these?
I guess that would be it for now. All I can add is that all of these (and some other that are already announced/rumored for 4.8) are actually the areas/features that I would actually make a very good use of in my recently released game. As simple as it is, it is a great proving ground, and even such a simple project would benefit, if any of the issues mentioned above got some improvements.
