Static Mesh lighting problem at texture seams

Our problem is, that along the red dotted lines (where the texture seam is) the lighting is really ugly. It looks like its unsmoothed there, but that isn’t the problem. (This image is from UDK but I’ve tried in UE4 and it’s the same thing).
The mesh is made in and exported from Maya. And idea what we are doing wrong?
