In UE5, I’m getting really uneven texturing for certain objects I import from UE5. None of these were issues in UE4.
The left and right sides of this image are the same object and same tiled material, with Blender 2.93 lightmap unwrapping. I’ve confirmed that there are no odd normals in the object. I’ve tried to regenerate the lightmap in the object within UE5 to no avail. There are no overlapping UVs. Toggling Nanite doesn’t change anything, and changing the material to something else doesn’t fix the issue.
Even weirder, I had something similar with another material that was only a scalar metallic value and a color, so no texture, and was having the same issue.
