Spline components rendering incorrectly

Hello. I’ve been looking into using spline components for my project (not spline mesh components. Just regular spline components). However, whenever I add a spline component to an actor in the editor, it doesn’t look right. It just looks like a big box, as opposed to the regular spline visualization. Whenever I pass by it in game, it’ll also blink rapidly. The kicker is that in a default UE4 project, the spline will show correctly. Is there some setting I’m missing? Thanks in advance.
