Sparse cloud disappears when model deleted

Hi,

If I load a bunch of photos, and run alignment, I see the camera positions and a sparse point cloud (the tie points) for the selected component.

If I run reconstruction, I then see a dense cloud (I think, or a mesh, it’s not quite clear to me), and gain a “model” sub item under the component.

If I delete that model using the x button, the sparse cloud disappears as well - all I can see now is the camera positions. That seems surprising to me. Is it still there but not displayed? Can I get it back without re-running alignment (which creates a new set of components).

you can ENABLE seeing TIE POINTS when you click in a 3D view and choose this option in the contextual menu.
