So, I made an simple hit sound BP for a mesh. The issue is, the sound only plays when the character/ collides with the mesh.
Any ideas?
Could you give us any more details? When is the sound supposed to play? Where is the sound BP? How are you calling methods from that BP?
Hi, thank you for the reply and sorry for being late.
I used a “On Component Hit”, then “break hit result” and connected “On component hit” to “Spawn sound at location”:
The sound only plays when I (the player) collides with the object.
Managed to make it work.
I just forgot to check “Simulation generates Hit Events”.
