Small Objects Vs Large Objects Shadowing

Hey all,

I’m messing around with some models and I’m seeing a problem where if I have a small model(s) (say a bunch of metal fences),
the shadows fade away a lot quicker than my larger singular models (like buildings).

This wouldn’t normal be a problem, but its happening after around 100 unreal units and its very annoying to the eyes.
I don’t know if this is a engine setting or something, but I’d like to extend the ‘distance’ before they fade out. Any ideas?

Top is about 5 feet away and bottom is when you get to around 3 feet. I’d rather this transition occurred much farther away from the player so it was less noticeable.

Edit: Its even more evident on masked textures. They fade away even faster.
