Skeletal mesh and animation sequence not lining up.

I have a skeletal mesh and an animation sequence, both are from the same model.
When i place the original skeletal mesh next to the according animation sequence, the animation sequence does not line up with the original mesh at all. And the pivot is way off too. How can i modify Pivots, sizes and their placement for an animation sequence. I already saw someone do it in a youtube video with the same exact model, but they don’t really elaborate on how to do it.
