Simple box animation not working from Maya

I’m trying to animate a few vertices on a box in Maya but when I bring it into Unreal the only thing the box does is move. The translation in the animation is working just fine but none of the vertices move like they do in Maya. I’ve tried baking the simulation/keys and adding a joint to skin the box to but whatever I do I cannot get the animation to play the same in the editor as in Maya. In attached photos you can see the moved vertices in Maya vs the result in UE4.
