Shooting Flying Actor Lag


I have flying actor that I spawned at a target point and have it flying towards another target point. I followed this tutorial:

I am trying to get the actor to fire a projectile. The projectile Spawn Transform info is based on reviewing the flying actors current location and rotation.

When I try to run the game without the projectiles, the flying actor moves fine. As soon as I try to add the flying actor “shooting” the projectiles. The plane movement lags.

I’ve tried using event tick, delay loops, and timer functions, all result with the flying actor movement lagging.

Any advice would be greatly appreciate on how to get a spawned actor following a target point to fire projectiles without lag.
