I’m fairly new to unreal so my apologies if this issue has been tackled in another thread. My issue is with certain props ( a wall torch in this particular instance) the shadow being casted against the wall looks great close up, but as I distance myself from it, it quickly disappears. I can fix this by increasing the bounds scale, but then after I perform a rebuild, I get a slew of errors telling me the bounds scale is too high for these objects and will result in a serious performance drop. Anything higher than the default bound scale results in these errors. Can anyone help with this?
