Select a peace of a fractured mesh

Hi, today I’ve been doing some research into how I could create a system that allows me to select and manipulate a piece of a fractured mesh however, I’ve had no luck.

I want to have a raycast that hits the mesh and returns the fractured piece instead of the whole object. At the moment the raycast gives me a AGeometryCollectionActor. Reading through the source I couldn’t see any clear way of doing this.

Is it even possible?
