Scan object standing and laying down?

Hey

Im considering getting this software but I need to know is there a way to scan objects that Stand up and then lay them down on the side? Some details can’t be scanned as they are “under” the object. Only changing the objects orientation can solve that. Is there a way to fuse / match two different poses using Realitycapture ?

1.  you can use   external apps to create MASK ( TIF and PNG fileformat ) 
2. use of ControlPoints 
3. combination of this 2 steps.
