Scaling large landscape makes UE appear hung

I’m testing UE5 EA with an imported heightmap that is quite large, on the order of 200 km on a side. The import went well, but I wanted to increase the vertical scale of the heightmap to test an auto material. Without thinking, I grabbed the Z coordinate of the Landscape Actor in its details panel and dragged right. Doh! It is doing what I asked it to do, even though in retrospect I know that was a bad idea, but the editor appears hung and AFAICT there is no way to abort this, short of killing the editor process.

I’ll probably just wait this out, but it would be a good idea to handle special situations like drag-changing numerical values in the details for Landscapes, since that’s going to be a problem in almost any project where they are used.
