Game ~ Savage Arena (working title)
The project aims to recreate some of the best features of “Savage, the battle for Newerth”, however it will become a game unto itself once core components are established.
The original game is a hybrid RTS/FPS/HacknSlash multiplayer enjoyed by many over its long life and is still played today.
The Game itself will be an arena based battle featuring the original but (remade) characters boasting great physics, effects, combat and a solid multiplayer framework. The melee system will stick closely to the original structure as this is the best feature of the original game. New elements such as head shots (localized damage/effect) ragdoll physics/ tricky animation blending, directional melee are some of the long term goals that will give it its unique style. The game is intended to revolutionize hack&slash combat and revisit some of the old and forgotten classics.
Looking for various game developers starting out [unpaid] including UE4 Blueprinters, animators, modelers (both object and character) and effects artists. This is an opportunity to boost your CV to help you enter the game development scene, as that’s exactly what I’m doing. Essential basic knowledge in UE4 and good work ethic is a must.
The project is for learners of various fields and is for the love of the art not the revenue, any savage 1 fans welcome for ideas and thoughts.

The Project has been undergoing a lot of brainstorming and experimenting with software to find a reasonable workflow/timeframe and accuracy since December of last year.
