So I don’t know why my character wont play the run left and right anims but instead plays the running anim but rotated. Here is my blendspace and anim bp respectively: (Also I dont know if it matters but the anim BP does have anim instance as it’s parent class)
By default the built-in character controller rotates to face the direction of movement, so there is no “sideways” movement unless you turn on strafing and turn off face-movement-direction.
i believe if you go into the character bp and search for orient, there’s an option to orient to direction or not
