RTX Final Gather method

According to documentation r**.RayTracing.GlobalIllumination.**FinalGatherDistance **[number of units] **
should help with ghosting artefacts. But it seems to do nothing for me. Which numbers should I enter? It seems like it should be something like 1-10.
