Root Motion during animBP state transition ( driven by last state, future state or blend of both states)

Hello, Is there a way to control what drives root motion during a transition? (and what’s the default behavior?)

e.g. when having a moveStop animation and then going out of into a turnStart moving again, I would like the turn (=future state) to instantly have full root-motion control while still doing a slow blend on the other bones.

possible solution: in other engines we had an option to control if the last state, the future state or the blend of both states is controlling root motion. How do I do this in UE (without complicated layers)?
