Robot Arm interactions

Hi everyone!

I’m trying to animate a robotic arm for visualization/ simulation. And i would like to know the best procedure moving forward. I’ve managed to import a rigged mesh with bone from 3DS max and I’ve done the constraints in UE4 and it simulates correctly.

I don’t know whether “animations” are the best way to implement parametric interactions using “animation states”
or
Whether I should use blueprints and manual transforms with VInterpTo.

An example I’m trying to reproduce is something like “random product pick and place from a conveyor”. For instance I used different sized BP_PickupCube with different sized meshes.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :slight_smile:
