RMC / PMC Ray Traced Shadow Workaround Request

In 4.22, there was an issue using PMC with the ray tracer (there were no shadows cast by the PMC). I am observing the same behavior in 4.23 with the runtime mesh component, and I am wondering if anyone has figured out a workaround for this issue.

I have tried converting the RMC to a static mesh after it completes its runtime needs, but the conversion process is difficult due to some of the differences between PMC and RMC.

What can be done to get functional shadow rendering working with a RMC using the Ray Tracer in 4.23?
