reuse a texture after importing a mesh

Hello,

I’m sure I’m asking a stupid question but I tried to find a solution on the forum and I don’t see any post about that.

After a reconstruction and texturing, I want to export my mesh in obj, rework it.
When I import it back, no problem, it is exactly aligned with the original one. Now is it possible to reuse the texture of the original model (ok, I know that the topology changed) or do I have to redo texturing ?

Yes, after you have cleaned a model and imported it in RC you need to calculate the UVs and textures again…
