repositioning the manipulator ?

I have exported assets from a maya level with the asset in place in the world where it needed to be, but now, I’d like to reuse that asset in another level, but I don’t want the old manipulator position cause its way out of reach for dragging the asset around… how might I be able to reposition the manipulator in UE4 ?

in maya, I can hit “insert” and move the mani to anywhere in the world space I wish to… can I don this in UE4 too ?

maybe by grouping it with a hidden/nodraw dummy object ?
