[RELEASED] for UE4: Complete Sky and Weather System

Hi guys. I continue testing your True Sky. Download and install latest version for 4.14. Try to make test scene.
Something terrible is happening with the moon.
On first screenshot I assign rotation values for moon light and it was completely wrong. It shine in day time as you can see.
On second screenshot I try to add some modifiers to values. But it was steel difference between moon light rotation and visible moon circle.
And most terrible that adding to pitch any values bigger or lesser than 180 not give better results in matching. Just make situation more incorrect.


Also I have several questions on which I would appreciate to hear answers.

  • As I see - new version comes out every day. Is there any place where able to see some " patch notes " read about changes and fixes? New versions of product every day and have no idea what was changed.
  • You have nice skylight with dynamic rendered cubemap but as i can see it is just for reflections and light color just white all time even in a very red colored sunrise. Is in plans to add some time of day dependent changes for light color to skylight like in sunlight?
  • Already mentioned cubemap was very nice but in night time it shows black nothing in reflections even if stars was very bright. I understand that stars is just any cubemap that you don’t capture in sky cubemap and it really makes no sense because in low resolution capture stars was unnoticeable. But maybe it’s in your plans to add inside your plugin skylight some blend between dynamically rendered cubemap and static cosmic cubemap texture in night time for better looking reflections?
