I pushed a fix for the in-cloud illumination.

I agree that your second picture looks a bit off. Maybe you can try playing around with the tonemaper settings? There’s also a few places (from ) where you can change brightness eg. sky layer.

Thanks a lot! Now it works but the lighting in the clouds is still shining through the trees (partially obscured by them, but still more translucent)
