Reflection issues, reflection cone locked to viewport. MOst annoying thing ever, please help.

I read something about a lightmap being baked incorrectly. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the whole Unreal Engine including the launcher and I’m still having this problem. This lighting issues started happening after I was playing around with a dynamic instance material blueprint. Ever since then, it’s almost like an FOV reflection that cut off the reflections at sharp angles, and the depth changes as I look up and down. It’s the most annoying thing ever. Please help. Do I have to change the light map of the skybox or something?


That’s normal, that is due to screen space reflections, it can only reflect what is currently visible because it’s a post process effect. If you want to improve it, use reflection probes or the new 2D planar reflections
