Raytrace GI Indirect light bleed on wall/ceiling

Hi All,

First time poster, long time lurker and finally making the jump into Unreal. I’ve been extensively trying to figure out a problem that I am unable to resolve and it’s driving me up the wall (pun intended.)

I have a wall and a rect light pointed upwards and its causing some sort of indirect light bleed. When I turn off Indirect Lighting Intensity on the rect light, the problem goes away but of course so does the GI. I’m hoping this is just a checkbox or CMD that I’m missing something. Could anyone point me in a direction of what might be causing this? When I turn on path tracing mode, the last image attached to this post is what I am expecting as a correct result.

Hope you all have a great weekend and thank you!
