Ray Casting with USD

Hello everyone!

I want to create a simulation environment inside Unreal Engine 4.27 by using the Pixar USD File format as much as possible. I am currently stuck with Ray Casting / Collision detection of an USD “object”… I created a Barrel in Maya, exported it as .usd, imported it in Unreal, but now my knowledge in Unreal + USD isn’t sufficient to get further. Has anyone tried doing this and has some information, guidance or help for me?
