Quick and hopefully simple question... referencing player character.

Hi all,

First post here, please be gentle. I have a rather newbie question. I used to code in C#, about 15 years back, and I’ve forgotten a fair bit. I’ve added some variables to my player character blueprint, and i’m trying to reference the player through a C++ script. The script that is called has:


PerformSkillCheck(float skill, float targetDifficultyValue, [And here's the issue] player)

So, my problem is… I can’t remember how to call the player. I want to be able to pass through the two floats and the PlayerCharacter themselves. If I use AActor, it won’t pull the variables from the PlayerCharacter (if I’m correct)

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
