Question to use matinee or blueprints for a ride experience


I am a newbie to Unreal Engine and want to create an experience for the Rift DK2 from Oculus.
I’d like to create a sort of ride, let’s say a wagon where you sit in and can look around that moves you automatically through a house with chambers.
It does not have to be curved movements, it may be straight lines, but at a endpoint the wagon must turn (which i can do with a blueprint i suppose).
I’m not sure what to use best for this. Do I create blueprints which moves the wagon from a to b to c with certain triggers.
I can attach the camera to the wagon.

So before I begin , what should I use?
